This is my list of fifty lost, under appreciated poets who I believe should be more widely known and read.
I will select the poets based upon my personal interests or links to their lives and their work and whilst others may wish to see other poets listed, I feel it is only right for me to promote poets for whom I have a passion for their work.
This does not mean that people cannot suggest poets to me, just that I will only promote them if I can engage with them and their work.
Each of the poets will be discussed in the main blog over the coming months as the list grows and will be added to this list as their blog entry is added.
